Titaridus - The lord of the dead

Reigning over the underworld and the tortured dead souls who reside within it,  Titaridus does little to disguise his disdain for his fellow Ancient Ones. Whilst his ultimate ambitions remain hidden from his rivals, they are in no doubt that they are darkly dangerous for themselves and for the lands of Evoran. The many tales within the Book of Clidanis tell of how the dark lord had raged against his brethren for the position he had been placed in, plotting delicious acts of revenge against them, however, as devout as Clidanis was in his worship of his lord, these tales were not true. Had Titaridus cared about the deeds of mortals enough to listen to these tales he would no doubt have taken great delight in the ridiculous thought that his rule of the nether dominion was some kind of punishment, when in actual fact he had long since learnt how to harness the very worst of his wards, his dark eyes looking deep into their souls to identify the truly depraved and evil to add to his army of evil champions to do his bidding.

Known for his sly intelligence and extreme arrogance the Lord of the Dead, revels in the dread that he causes across the universe, with many realms forbidden to even utter his name for fear of what fate might befall them. Of course, with dread also comes desire, and the cults that have grown in his name promise their followers a long and comfortable afterlife, a preposterous idea given that their lord does not care about worship or devotion, he cares only for the true nature of the hearts and minds of the fallen.
