Tyranok Statue – Wrath Reincarnated

That Tyranok was chosen by the dark lord to lead the swarming armies of the undead was no surprise, Titaridus had always had his favourites, and his fiendish warlord was first amongst his tortured souls. As a young man, many centuries ago in the dark generations, Tyranok’s merciless cunning had seen him quickly rise up to lead a ruthless clan of murderers who terrorised Evoran, cruelly pillaging towns throughout the land, defeating countless clans and taking whatever they wanted as spoils. In those dark and desperate ages, there was little respite for the weak, and Tyranok knew that he was stronger than most and certainly cleverer than anyone he encountered; his first and only impulse was to use these advantages to conquer and claim all that he desired.

Throughout his years many rival warlord met his grisly end by Tyranok’s double bladed axe, with the cunning tactician unparalleled on the battlefield his forces terrified their opponents, often causing them to measly surrender. The waving white flag did not save their leaders from the famed axe however, Tyranok left none behind. Countless battles went in the tireless warlord’s favor and his reputation was known, and feared throughout Evoran. Nature however, runs its course with all mortals and with the passing years Tyranok’s powers eventually waned, he made mistakes in battle and ultimately he was defeated, his axe smashed and his wounds fatal. The once unequalled warrior’s life ebbed away and he slipped into the darkness …where Titaridus welcomed him with open arms, reserving a special place in the underworld for Tyranok where he could keep him close.

When the dark lord begin to sense the weakening of the living’s world’s protection he called his favourite soul to him, making Tyranok the general of his massed armies and handed him his reforged axe, willing him to go forth into the land of Evoran and make way for Titaridus’ arrival. With the ravages of age removed from him, we can only guess at what horrors lay in store when Tyranok takes to the battlefield once more
