The Executioner

A creeping, unseen terror has come to Nemorin, the forest is now shrouded in darkness and any that venture there do not return. The cities and towns that the great forest surrounds are filled with harrowing tales of a new presence within those trees, that has driven all wildlife away in fear. The local lords had all sent warriors into the forest to root out this evil newcomer, but before meeting their own gruesome ends all that they saw along the trail of destruction the executioner had left were the piled bodies of his victims.

Once night falls, this fearsome demon stalks the living; none that have looked upon this hulking headless knight have lived to tell the tale. In theory the route to his daytime layer it well marked, but fewer and fewer warriors are brave enough to follow the path and challenge this monster.

Nothing is known of The Executioner’s origin at present, it seems to be driven by pure evil instinct, however it is clear that the dark lord has chosen well in creating this terrifying demon to spread terror and destruction throughout the southern territories, haunting people’s dreams and driving them back within their walled towns at all times.
